My Favourite Bands

1. Bring Me The Horizon

Bring Me the Horizon are a British rock band from Sheffield, Yorkshire. Formed in 2003, the group currently consists of lead vocalist Oliver Sykes, lead guitarist Lee Malia, bassist Matt Kean, drummer Matt Nicholls and keyboardist Jordan Fish. They are signed to RCA Records globally and Columbia Records exclusively in the US. The style of their early work, including their debut album Count Your Blessings, has primarily been described as deathcore, but they started to adopt a more eclectic style of metalcore on subsequent albums. Furthermore, their latest album That's the Spirit, marked a shift in their sound to less aggressive rock music styles.

2. Get Scared

Get Scared is an American post-hardcore band from Layton, Utah. Formed in 2008, they released their first EP Cheap Tricks and Theatrics in 2009, followed by Cheap Tricks and Theatrics B-Sides one year later. Another EP, titled Get Scared, was released in 2010, with songs "Voodoo" (which is a revised version of "If She Only Knew Voodoo Like I Do" featured on Cheap Tricks and Theatrics), "Deepest Cut" and "Sarcasm" (a revised version of "Setting Yourself Up for Sarcasm" featured on Cheap Tricks and Theatrics) featuring Craig Mabbitt. They released their debut full-length album, Best Kind of Mess, on July 12, 2011. Nicholas Matthews was replaced by Joel Faviere in 2011. Faviere released an EP with the Get Scared, "Built for Blame, Laced With Shame" in 2012, only to be kicked out and replaced again with Nicholas Matthews in 2012. With Nicholas Matthews, they released another full-length album, Everyone's Out To Get Me on November 11, 2013 and were featured in Punk Goes 90s 2, covering Lit's hit song, "My Own Worst Enemy" on April 1, 2014. They also played the full 2014 Vans Warped Tour. They have already written and recorded their latest studio-album, which was released on October 30th this year. The album is called "Demons"

3. My Chemical Romance

My Chemical Romance (often abbreviated as MCR) was an American rock band from New Jersey, formed in 2001. The band consisted of lead vocalist Gerard Way, guitarists Ray Toro and Frank Iero, bassist Mikey Way and keyboardist James Dewees. Shortly after forming, the band signed to Eyeball Records and released their debut album I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love in 2002. They signed with Reprise Records the next year and released their major label debut Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge in 2004; the album was a commercial success, and was awarded platinum status a little over a year later.The band eclipsed their previous success with their 2006 concept album, The Black Parade, which gained generally favorable reviews among music critics. Their fourth studio album, Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, was released on November 22, 2010, to positive reviews. The band's final release was a series of singles, released over the course of five months, collected on the compilation Conventional Weapons. The band announced its break-up on March 22, 2013, one month after the final release in the Conventional Weapons series

4. Mayday Parade

Mayday Parade is an American pop rock band from Tallahassee, Florida. Their debut EP Tales Told by Dead Friends was released in 2006, and sold over 50,000 copies without any label support. In July 2007, Mayday Parade released their debut album A Lesson in Romantics. After signing to Fearless in 2006, the band also signed onto a major label with Atlantic in 2009. Their second studio album, Anywhere but Here was released in October 2009 and their third album, entitled Mayday Parade, was released in October 2011. Mayday Parade's fourth album, titled Monsters in the Closet, was released in October 2013. Their fifth album, titled Black Lines, was released October 2015.
